It is quite often that when people think of lingerie they always refer to French lingerie as being the King so maybe it is appropriate that we refer to Italian lingerie as the Queen. It is really only in the last year that I started to admire the lingerie coming out of the Italian lingerie houses and to me it by far outweighs the results from the French lingerie houses. Guia La Bruna. A young designer who has a love of silk, vintage lace, velvet and strasses. Her family has been in the lingerie business since 1935 and Guia now promotes the business with a modern but retro look.
Flora Lastraioli is a family business that is stepped in history. Their specialty is embroidered lingerie and they are known for using only the best materials including pure silk.
Cosabella was founded by a married couple and whilst it has not been going as long as its counterparts it still has a reputation for top quality outstanding Italian lingerie. Cosabella is a popular choice of lingerie and swimwear for many movie stars and the rich.
Intimissimi is a popular designer with over 800 stores all around Italy. It is considered an alternative to the La Perla range and the latest collection focuses on floral prints, transparent black lace and comfort.
